Swimwear Glue ideal for Pageants now available from Sandstorm Boutique

Swimsuit glue is designed to hold the edges of swimsuits in place while the wearer is  moving. Swimsuit glue is in our opinion very necessary for pageant contestants. Afterall no-one wants a contestant to get embarrassed or overexposed should her suit slips! If you think that swimsuit glue could help you with your swimsuit contest, then make sure you know how to use it so you get the best results.

Swimsuit glue is a strong adhesive that literally glues your suit to your body. It can also be used to hold the straps of evening gowns in place. Some types of glue are waterproof so that you can actually use it on the beach, while others can be removed with warm water and should only be used if you are not actually going to get your swimsuit wet. 

A little word of warning - because these glues are literally glue, you could have an allergic reaction to them. Make sure that you test the glue on a small area of your body before putting using it to hold your suit in place.

NOTE: Many pageant contestants and judges alike say that using some type of adhesive to hold your swimsuit in place is a must if you are seriously competing in any type of beauty contest!

 Well .......... the jewellery designer is South African born - Hayley Kruger. Hayley who is based in the UK creates bold, eye catching items which are inspired by her homeland.

We love her collection and the items we utilised blended perfectly with the amazing swimwear we showcased at the Miss World Beach Beauty Competition.

Maaji 2012 - planting an ocean of trees. We can all help when we purchase their beautiful swimwear.

PLANTING AN OCEAN OF TREES:

Maaji is committed to the preservation of our Oceans and Seas, of which have been an

endless source of inspiration for their swimwear collections. Tree planting has an immense

number of positive effects on our environment. One of which contributes to the safekeeping

of our precious water resources.

“Planting an Ocean of Trees” is Maaji’s way of giving back to our planet. With this campaign

Maaji will plant a tree for each swimsuit sold from our “Under Water Conquest”

collection.

About The Planting:

The Maaji Trees are planted in projects designed specifically to protect watersheds in Colombia,

in areas with high water potential that have been hit by violence. It will take place

in the Andean region, mainly in the eastern part of Antioquia and in Tolima, a region affected

by the indiscriminate logging of forests, located in the equatorial zone, allowing further

growth of trees and a greater contribution to the decrease in climate change.

The tree´s species have been selected in agreement with the regional environmental

authorities, according to the geographic location and the conditions of the site. We will

use native species such as Cedar, Willow, Oak and Myrtle.

Plantings will continuously be verified by the multinational Deloitte & Touche.

Green Solutions with High Social Impact:

By the implementation of this project, we promote social construction and recovery of

confidence in vulnerable populations. We Bring additional resources to family farmers and

improve their quality of life due to the protection of their drinking water.

We will also help to recover soils and biodiversity by protecting the topsoil, improving soil

porosity and promoting to create native habitats where species find shelter and food,

spread tree species in danger of extinction and reconnect forest patches that build travel

corridors for wildlife.

As inhabitants of this wonderful world, we feel it is our responsibility to find different ways

of contributing to the environment from the moment we wake up in the morning until we

go to bed. Each one of us can be an agent of change.

This is Maaji’s peaceful contribution for the Underwater Conquest preservation!
